Disaster Assessment Program
The HOA, the Kansas chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and the Kansas Division of Emergency Management have created the Kansas Disaster Assessment Program. This tool helps evaluate an event, provide teams of qualified responders to inspect damaged buildings and assist the community in recovery and rebuilding. Volunteers must complete a training course to become state certified disaster inspectors prior to participating in the program.
