Training is critical for inspectors due to the technical and ever changing nature of the building industry. HOA offers several training opportunities, primarily the Annual Business Meeting (ABM), held in conjunction with the Kansas Association of Code Enforcement (KACE).  This three day event, held in the spring, provides a variety of training for Code Officials. 

 

HOA also encourages local jurisdictions to provide educational opportunities to members and contractors.  HOA will assist financially with these efforts as stated in the adopted HOA policy.

Registration for the Johnson County Contractor Licensing 2013 Spring Education Seminar is open. The seminar will be held at the Overland Park Convention Center, 6000 College Boulevard, Overland Park, Kansas, February 20 through 22, 2013.
